Taiwanese singer Donna Chiu stepped away from the spotlight after marrying Ma Wen Hong – who's reported to be a pig farmer – in 1996, and she has no regrets about her decision.
In celebration of their 30th anniversary, Chiu, 61, gave fans a rare glimpse into her personal life, sharing a tender photo of herself and her husband together in bed.
"Looking at the face of the man I've loved for most of my life, I feel it's all worth it," she wrote.
The former pop star, who won a Golden Bell Award for hosting in 2003, shared that their anniversary wasn't lavish.
Instead, it was a quiet and simple celebration that reflected a "peaceful kind of beauty".
Chiu also expressed contentment in the everyday moments of married life, saying she feels happy just waking up each morning to see her husband's face.
"Even drinking water feels sweet," she said, before adding a heartfelt, "Love you forever."
According to China Press, Chiu once struggled with postpartum body changes after giving birth to her son, leaving her feeling self-conscious and low-spirited.
