Hong Kong actors Terrance Lau Chun-him and Cecilia Choi Sze-wan have officially tied the knot after years of dating.

The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in Karuizawa, Japan, witnessed only by close friends and family.

They shared the joyful news in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday (Oct 14), writing, “Thank you God for loving us. We are married!”

The post included five photos from their special day – including a shot of the pair standing before a church and another showing them hand in hand, smiling as they held a bouquet of white roses together.

For the record, Lau, 37, and Choi, 31, first crossed paths while filming the 2019 romance flick Beyond The Dream – a project that earned them the Best Actor and Best Actress honours respectively at the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards in 2020.

The pair is often regarded as a model couple, known for openly expressing their affection and unwavering support for each other.

In a statement, their management agency said Lau and Choi are grateful for the blessings and encouragement from both fans and members of the media.

“They will continue to support each other and live sincerely. They hope everyone will keep sending them blessings,” it added.
