Hong Kong superstar Tony Leung, known for his low-profile personality, recently sat down with fellow actor Edison Chen for a candid conversation on the latter's YouTube channel Zoned.

The 63-year-old star openly admitted that memorising scripts has become a lot harder with age.

What once took him a month now requires at least four or five months of work.

He also revealed that he avoids watching his own performances, whether during filming or after, because he tends to fixate on flaws that audiences might never notice.

When asked if he considers himself a disciplined person, the Infernal Affairs actor replied: “Not really.”

As translated by Dimsum Daily, Leung explained: “There are too many things to think about … such as preparing for new roles. I constantly have to think about things I haven’t done before.”

On a lighter note, Leung shared his thoughts on fashion.

He said he prefers to choose his own outfits rather than rely on a stylist.

“Clothes aren’t just for others to see, but for myself to enjoy. It’s fun. They must fit well, and sometimes I like to add small details. I’m afraid of clothes that don’t fit properly,” he said.

Humble as ever, Leung told Chen: “Of course, I’m not as stylish as you.”

To which Chen, 44, quickly replied, “No, no, you’ve got a great sense of style, big brother.”
