Hong Kong actor Matthew Ho is officially engaged!
The 37-year-old announced the happy news on Instagram on Aug 8, revealing he had successfully proposed to his girlfriend, public relations company founder Sarah Miu.
His post included a photo of the couple beaming at each other on what appeared to be a beach.
“She said yes! Do you believe in love at first sight? You made me realise the existence of ‘love even before first sight’,” he wrote in the caption.
Reflecting on their relationship, Ho shared his excitement at embarking on a new chapter with Miu.
“From meeting, getting to know each other, going on dates, falling in love, being together, to truly loving one another.
“Everything we’ve experienced together, as time passes, our (relationship) will now take on a new identity. My best friend, soulmate and the love of my life,” the TVB star added.
Ho – who had long been rumoured to be dating fellow actress Rebecca Zhu – went public with his relationship with Miu in September 2023, revealing that they had already been together for six months at the time.
Reports indicate that the couple met each other through work, as the actor would promote products that Miu obtained from her clients.
