The human resources executive accused of having an affair with her tech company’s CEO after they were captured on the kiss cam at a Coldplay concert has reportedly left her job.

Astronomer chief people officer Kristin Cabot has resigned from her position following the ensuing controversy, TMZ reported Thursday.

“Kristin Cabot is no longer with Astronomer — she’s resigned,” a representative told the outlet.

Cabot’s now-defunct LinkedIn page said she’d been with the DataOps company since November 2024, according to multiple reports. Her profile described her as a “passionate people leader.”

Cabot was caught last week canoodling with Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, whose own resignation was confirmed to the Daily News on Saturday. The couple panicked upon seeing themselves on the jumbotron during a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts, sparking speculation about their relationship.

“Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy,” Coldplay frontman Chris Martin joked from the stage after seeing the couple’s reaction onscreen.

Footage of the incident attracted more than 45 million views on social media, according to Newsweek, with savvy Internet users quickly identifying the man as Byron and the woman as his head of HR.

Byron is reportedly married and shares two kids with his wife, who is not Cabot.

Astronomer’s new CEO, Pete DeJoy, said Monday that his former colleagues’ conduct brought unwanted attention to the company.

“While I would never have wished for it to happen like this, Astronomer is now a household name,” DeJoy wrote in a post shared on LinkedIn.

News of Byron and Cabot’s resignations come shortly after Astronomer released a statement announcing it had launched a formal investigation into the debacle. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
