South Korean actress Lee Seo-yi dies at 43


Lee Seo-yi's last appearance was in this year's comedy 'The Divorce Insurance', which starred Lee Dong-wook and Lee Kwang-soo.

South Korean actress Lee Seo-yi has died at the age of 43, according to her manager who posted the news on Instagram.

"Our radiant, beautiful, lovely and kind unnie became a star in the sky on June 20. 

"I understand that many of you may be shocked and deeply saddened by the news of her passing, but I kindly ask that you pray so that she can go to a good and beautiful place," Lee's manager wrote in a post accompanied by a black-and-white photo of the actress.

The cause of Lee's death was not revealed.

Lee has starred in K-dramas such as Cheongdamdong Scandal, City Of The Sun, Bravo My Life, Romance Special Law and Pegasus Market. Her last appearance was in this year's comedy The Divorce Insurance, which starred Lee Dong-wook and Lee Kwang-soo.

Choi Deok-moon, who acted alongside Lee in the 2023 flick Killing Romance, was shocked by the news of the actress's death.

“Why? How did that happen?” he wrote in the comment section.
