HK singer Keung To of boy band Mirror rescued after falling into the sea

Hong Kong pop star Keung To, a member of the popular boy band Mirror, raised alarm after falling into the sea near the Western Wholesale Food Market in Sai Wan on Tuesday (June 24).

Hong Kong media reported that authorities received a call around 4.30pm, alerting them to a man who had fallen into the water near the market.

To, 26, was found conscious by marine police when they rescued him. The singer was taken to the Central Government Pier before being transferred to the Queen Mary Hospital for further assessment.

Following the incident, To released a statement through his manager on Instagram Story, reassuring fans that he’s safe and doing well.

“It was a minor accident caused by my own carelessness. I’m fine, so please don’t worry. I hope there won’t be any speculation. I’m truly sorry for worrying everyone,” he said.
