Taiwanese singer Barbie Hsu, fondly known as Da S, passed away in February this year, and understandably, her family is still mourning the loss.

Her husband, South Korean musician DJ Koo Jun-yup, has even sparked health concerns after appearing gaunt in photos shared by Hsu’s mother on Facebook.

More recent reports suggest that Koo is considering relocating to the district where his wife is laid to rest, hoping to be closer to her final resting place.

His grief hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans. One admirer recently offered a heartfelt gesture while sharing a flight with him to Taiwan.

As reported by Dimsum Daily, Threads user @lydiachen_jolly shared that she sat next to Koo on the plane.

When the inflight meal arrived, she wished him to enjoy the meal.

She also translated a message into Korean that read: “I’m sorry to disturb you. I’m a fan of you and Da S. Thank you for making her happy. Please take care of yourself and eat well.”

Koo was said to be moved by her words and warmly thanked her.

According to Sin Chew, the fan’s gesture touched many netizens, who praised her for expressing sentiments they also shared.

One comment read: “Thank you, that was so warm, and thank you for showing him the warmth of Taiwanese people.”

Another said: “You expressed what so many of us want to say to him!”
