Donald Trump is proud to take credit for what he believes to be the demise of Taylor Swift’s reputation.

The polarising US president posted on his social media platform Friday morning: “Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?'”

At the time of publication, the post has been liked 25,000 times and reposted more than 4,100 times.

It’s unclear what spurred Trump’s latest dig at the Grammy-winning pop superstar, 35.

Swift has largely kept out of the spotlight since boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs lost what would have been their third-consecutive Super Bowl win, when the Philadelphia Eagles beat them in February.

Swift formally endorsed former Vice President Kamala Harris in her democratic bid at the White House in September. A few days later, Trump formally declared his disdain for Swift.

“I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” Trump posted on Truth Social on Sept 15, earning over 59,000 likes and 12,5000 “ReTruths.”

The president’s latest dose of anti-Swift rhetoric comes on the heels of his remarks during the Eagles’ White House visit in late April.

“It was an incredible game,” Trump said of the Super Bowl face-off, per Billboard. “I was there along with Taylor Swift, how did that work out? How did that one work out?”

The night of the big game, Trump said Swift was “the only one who had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs. … She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving.” – New York Daily News
