Canadian actress Christy Chung recently celebrated Mothers Day with a special photoshoot alongside all three of her daughters – Yasmine, 27, Jaden, 16, and Cayla, 15.
On May 11, Yasmine shared six snapshots of the family on Instagram, showcasing their radiant smiles and stylish outfits.
One particularly sweet shot captured a candid moment of Chung, 54, laughing heartily as Yasmine covered her eyes from behind.
In her caption, Yasmine playfully recalled the time she had forgotten to wish her mum a Happy Mothers Day last year, which didn’t sit well with the actress.
“This year, we ended up doing a photoshoot to celebrate and I got to wish her a Happy Mothers Day in person. If that’s not growth, I’m not sure what is,” she wrote humorously.
Many netizens quickly flooded the comments section with praise for the family’s stunning visuals while others gushed over how all three daughters inherited their mother’s beauty.
“Gorgeous just like mama,” wrote one netizen.
“All of you are so pretty,” added another.
Chung has been developing a career in China in recent years, making occasional appearances in reality shows and commercials.
With her eldest child Yasmine living abroad, it’s not often that all three daughters are seen with their mum, making this recent appearance all the more special.
Chung welcomed her first daughter Yasmine during her first marriage to British businessman Glen Ross, which ended in divorce in 2002.
The Love On Delivery star later tied the knot with Chinese actor Shawn Zhang in 2016, with whom she had her two other daughters.
For the record, Yasmine has already made a name for herself as an actress and was crowned first runner-up in the 2021 Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant.
While there's no information on whether Jaden and Cayla will follow in the same path, they have already built a strong online presence, with each having over 140,000 followers on Instagram.
