The controversy surrounding the late actress Kim Sae-ron continues to intensify as her father reveals that Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, persistently contacted their family despite their grief.

Speaking through the Garosero Research Institute YouTube channel, Sae-ron’s father disclosed that the agency repeatedly called and messaged them, urging a conversation to justify their stance.

“The agency had repeatedly pressured us to make contact.

“They kept calling and messaging non-stop, asking to explain themselves, but they refused to acknowledge their role in what happened,” he said.

He also revealed call logs proving that Gold Medalist persistently attempted to reach them, contradicting their earlier firm legal stance.

Initially, Sae-ron’s father had agreed to contact the agency the following Monday, yet despite this, the calls continued.

“I told them I was working and would call them at night, but they still would not stop,” he added.

The revelation sparked criticism from netizens, who pointed out the agency’s contradictory behavior – previously ignoring Sae-ron’s attempts to reach out but now pressing for communication after public scrutiny intensified.

On March 16, Sae-ron’s family released an official statement through the Garosero Research Institute YouTube channel, directly addressing Gold Medalist’s statements. The family refuted the agency’s claim that sending a certification of contents was a standard procedure related to an embezzlement issue.

Instead, they asserted that after receiving the legal notice, Sae-ron had attempted to reach out to company representatives but was ignored. The backlash against Gold Medalist escalated as netizens questioned why neither Soo-hyun nor his agency representatives attended Sae Ron’s funeral.

Many found this particularly damning, given the agency’s sudden eagerness to communicate now that the controversy had drawn widespread attention.
