Chinese actress Angelababy posted a series of stunning Chinese New Year photos on social media.

But what really stole the spotlight was the rare appearance of her eight-year-old son, who is nicknamed Little Sponge.

Although Angelababy made sure to cover his eyes with stickers, netizens didn’t need to see his full face to conclude that he’s the spitting image of his father, Huang Xiaoming, calling him a "mini Huang Xiaoming".

Dressed in a gorgeous traditional outfit, Angelababy – whose real name is Angela Yeung – looked radiant and youthful as she posed with a gold ingot and red lantern, flashing a bright smile.

She captioned her post with a festive greeting: "The Auspicious Dragon bids farewell, and the Lucky Snake brings blessings. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!"

As the 35-year-old beauty has been spotted in Hong Kong recently, fans are theorising she is celebrating Chinese New Year there.
