The snake comes in sixth in the Chinese zodiac, representing wisdom and charm.

Those born under this sign are often seen as intellectuals, natural strategists and deep thinkers.

If you’re born in the Year of the Snake (1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001 and 2013), here are 10 celebrities who may share similar traits with you.

Swift, 35, has spent the past years building a reputation that’s nothing short of legendary.

The Style hitmaker recently concluded her Eras Tour, which raked in US$2bil (RM9bil), making it the highest grossing tour of all time.

International media have hailed the tour as one of the defining cultural phenomena of the 21st century, drawing comparisons to the fervour of the 1960s Beatlemania.

Additionally, Swift was crowned Spotify’s 2024 Global Top Artiste for the second consecutive year in December, with over 26.6 billion streams globally.

Her romance with American football star Travis Kelce has also been the subject of public interest.

One of Malaysia’s prominent talents, Neelofa rose to fame after winning the 2009 Dewi Remaja beauty pageant.

A successful actress and entrepreneur, the Kau Yang Terindah star has been named amongst Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list in 2017.

In 2019, Neelofa became the first Malaysian to win Monaco’s Influencer Awards in the Entrepreneur category.

Her strategic mindset mirrors the traits of those born in the Year of the Snake.

Kwok is no stranger to Asia’s entertainment scene, having been listed as one of the “Four Heavenly Kings” of the Hong Kong music scene.

Beyond his singing career, the charming superstar has starred in a number of shows such as Cyber Heist, Project Gutenberg and more.

The 59-year-old kicked off 2025 on a high after his horse, Dancing Code, triumphed in a race. As the proud owner, Kwok pocketed HK$832,000 (RM479,501) in winnings.

The Cantopop star expressed his hope to bring good fortune to Hong Kong citizens this year.

Billie Eilish (2001)

This Gen Z pop star concluded 2024 on a high note after her smash hit, Birds Of A Feather, overtook Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso to become Spotify’s most-streamed song of the year.

The song, which emerged on top with 1.77 billion streams, is included on Eilish’s third album Hit Me Hard And Soft – the second most-streamed album of 2024 on Spotify.

The 20-year-old will contend in several major categories at the Grammy Awards next month, including Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Ruco Chan (1977)

Chan became the first actor to clinch two consecutive wins for Favourite TVB Actor at the TVB Star Awards Malaysia in 2015 and 2016.

The 48-year-old has a strong love for Malaysia, which he calls his top choice for overseas real estate investment.

Chan, who’s married to former Miss Hong Kong Phoebe Sin, made headlines last August after performing at the 21st Miss Chinese Pageant in New York.

He also returned as the lead in the second season of Sinister Beings, which dominated the ratings charts for weeks following its release in April 2024.

Psy (1977)

Park Jae-sang, famously known as Psy, created a cultural phenomenon in 2012 with his hit song Gangnam Style. Its music video was the first video in Internet history to break 1 and 2 billion views.

Tin, the wife of Hong Kong actor Chapman To, had a rough 2024 after being diagnosed with cancer.

Despite this, the former TVB star remained resilient as she underwent surgery and is now cancer-free.

Although she was initially insecure about the surgical scars on her back, her husband reassured her they were beautiful.

Tin debuted as a singer in 1993 before branching into acting two years later.

She’s known for her roles in dramas like Love Exchange and Be Home For Dinner.

Robert Downey Jr. (1965)

Downey is undoubtedly one of the key figures in pop culture, bringing the iconic Marvel superhero Iron Man to life.

The past year has been eventful for the actor, who earned an Emmy nomination for his performance in the HBO drama The Sympathizer.

The 59-year-old also made his Broadway debut in Ayad Akhtar’s one-act stage play McNeal.

Last July, Downey surprised fans after revealing that he will be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as the villain Doctor Doom in the upcoming Avengers movies.

His character Iron Man died in the conclusion of the 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

Chris Martin (1977)

One thing certain about this English singer is his generosity and integrity.

Over the past few years, Martin, along with his band Coldplay, has shown extensive support of charitable causes.

In 2021, the Yellow hitmaker sponsored a watercraft that removes plastic trash from rivers in Kuala Lumpur.

Martin also sent Malaysian fans into frenzy in 2023 after reciting a pantun in Bahasa Malaysia during Coldplay’s first concert in the country.

Tsang is treating Malaysian fans to a special gift this CNY with his upcoming flick Money Games, which was shot in Malaysia and Hong Kong.

During a recent press conference in Kuala Lumpur, the 71-year-old called Malaysia a “best friend to Hong Kong’s film industry” and praised the local cast and crew for their professionalism.

Tsang, who’s also TVB’s General Manager, is famous for his roles in shows such as Infernal Affairs, Ip Man: The Final Fight and more.

He’s the recipient of multiple awards and even has his hand print and autograph at Hong Kong’s Avenue of Stars.
