HK actor Wayne Lai Yiu Cheung visits KL with wife Julia Leung

Popular Hong Kong actor Wayne Lai Yiu Cheung recently came to Malaysia for work and took advantage of his downtime to explore the nation's capital with his wife Julia Leung.

On Jan 9, Lai shared a photo with his wife happily posing in front of the Petronas Twin Towers.

His Instagram post was accompanied by a caption that read: “Came to Malaysia so many times, but this is our first time at KLCC.”

The Journey To The West star also posted two photos with Leung, whom he married in 1997, and another with local singer Danny Koo at Kwai Chai Hong alley in Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown.

“Came to Malaysia for a trip and took a photo with this handsome guy! Happiness is most important,” he captioned his post.

Many netizens have since welcomed Lai and his wife to the country, while others hoped to bump into the actor during his time here.

“So happy to have met you guys. Welcome to Malaysia! Enjoy enjoy," Koo, 36, commented.

One fan said: “Enjoy your time here, brother Lai. I really want to meet you, but I’m not in KL at the moment.”

“You look so handsome. It’s like you haven’t aged at all,” another added.

Lai began his show business career in 1985 after enrolling in TVB’s artistes training programme.

He has won three TVB Anniversary Awards for Best Actor and is known for his roles in dramas like Rosy Business, No Regrets, The Gentle Crackdown II and more.
