Ive has officially announced the release of its third EP IVE Empathy, set for Feb 3, 2025.

The group’s agency, Starship Entertainment, made the announcement via a teaser video shared to the group's official social media channels, which captures heartwarming moments shared between the six members.

Linking arms, holding hands, and covering one other with blankets, each Ive member radiates warmth and affection; at the end of the video, the lyrics “May we cherish this six forever” appear, along with the album title Ive Empathy.

This new release comes nine months after the group's second EP, IVE Switch, which was dropped in April 2024. Ahead of the latest drop, a pre-release track will be shared on Jan 13, 2025.

As a leading 4th generation K-pop group, Ive has consistently demonstrated its influence on domestic and international music charts, YouTube, TikTok, and through various concerts and music festivals.

In October 2023, Ive's first world tour, “Show What I Have,” spanned 37 performances across 19 countries, including Asia, the Americas, and Europe, attracting over 420,000 attendees. Iconic venues such as Seoul’s KSPO Dome and Japan’s Tokyo Dome saw sold-out shows.

Additionally, in August 2024, Ive delivered standout performances at prestigious festivals such as Lollapalooza Chicago in the US and Japan’s largest music festival, Summer Sonic 2024. — The Korea Herald/Asia News Network
