Hong Kong actress Natalie Tong left TVB in 2022 after nearly two decades with the broadcaster.

Even after her departure, her media presence remained strong, thanks to shows she had filmed prior such as I’ve Got The Power (2022) and The Invisibles (2023).

Since then, Tong has decided to focus on stage plays and screenwriting ... as well as baking.

According to reports, the 43-year-old recently opened a bakery in Hong Kong’s bustling Causeway Bay.

It’s said that Tong’s business is thriving, with goods selling out before 4pm.

Hong Kong singer Joey Yung's ex-boyfriend Meter Chen, who owns numerous restaurants, was among the first celebrities to visit Tong’s bakery.

On Instagram, he shared a series of photos showing the Big White Duel star, dressed in a staff uniform and cap, personally attending to errands and selling pastries.

“My incredible friend has turned her dream into reality by opening a bakery supervised by Japanese experts.

“I’m genuinely happy for you. Congratulations on making your dream come true,” Chen captioned his post.

According to reports, Tong has been learning baking for some time and occasionally shares her experiences on social media.

The actress once travelled to Japan for two weeks to learn more about baking.

In 2017, she forked out a whopping seven-digit sum along with her friends to open a dessert shop in Hong Kong.

Tong signed with TVB in 2003 and has gained recognition for her roles in successful dramas such as The Seventh Day, A Fistful of Stances and My Unfair Lady, among others.
