Fattah Amin shocked by Fazura's divorce filing, says still loves her, no other woman involved

KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Fattah Amin says that he still loves his wife, actress Nur Fazura, and emphasised that no other woman is the cause of the strain in their marriage, Malay language portal mStar reports.

Fattah, whose full name is Abdul Fattah Mohd Amin, 34, expressed his shock upon discovering that his wife had filed for divorce, a fact he only learned via social media.

"Honestly, I only learned about the divorce application filed against me through social media, especially after it went viral.

"I am extremely shocked and saddened by the news. Moreover, without any doubt, I still love Fazura and want to stress that there is no other woman in my life as has been speculated and spread on social media," he told mStar.

Fattah also requested that no one else interfere in their marital affairs, asking the public to pray for the best for their marriage.

"I humbly ask for your well wishes and support so that all our affairs can be facilitated and resolved amicably and peacefully. I also hope that there will be no interference from other parties that could further complicate this situation," he added.

On Friday (Sept 13), Fazura, or Nur Fazura Sharifuddin, 41, was reportedly seen at the Syariah Court in Petaling, Selangor, to file for divorce against Fattah.

However, detailed information regarding the matter was not disclosed.

Previously, there were rumours that the couple's marriage was on the rocks, but Fazura insisted that her relationship with Fattah was good.

Fattah also mentioned that the reason he seldom posted pictures with his wife on social media was due to his busy work schedule. He added that he was unaware of the gossip being spread about their marriage.

For the record, Fazura and Fattah tied the knot on Nov 27, 2017. Their marriage has been blessed with a daughter, Nur Fatima Aisya, who is three years old.
