Taiwanese singer Ella Chen enjoys nasi lemak, roti canai, satay in KL before Genting concert: 'Loving it'

Taiwanese singer-actress Ella Chen is currently in Malaysia for a concert at Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands, on Saturday (Aug 24).

The artiste, who is married to Malaysian businessman Alvin Lai, took the opportunity to savour the unique flavours of Malaysian food such as nasi lemak, roti canai, satay and curry laksa.

On Tuesday (Aug 21), Chen shared photos of her food hunting adventure with her 1.5 million followers on her Instagram Story.

The 43-year-old performer posted photos of herself enjoying a peaceful moment at an outdoor cafe in Kuala Lumpur with her son Jin Bao.

In these photos, she described nasi lemak as “very spicy” and that she was “loving it” when it came to roti canai.

"I have to eat first before I can sing," she added on Facebook.

Chen, a member of the Taiwanese girl group S.H.E, is in Kuala Lumpur for her World Of Two concert with Taiwanese singer WeiBird.

Among the songs she will be performing include S.H.E’s Grey Sky, How Old Are You and a new song titled Little Simple.
