Taiwanese television host Jacky Wu sure loves durian, that he doesn't mind skipping a massage or eating by the roadside, with no concern for his image.

The 61-year-old was recently in Nha Trang, Vietnam, recording a show.

And while there, he took the opportunity to enjoy the fruit.

He shared photos of him at a stall as well as a video of him outside a massage parlour, eating durian, on Instagram. Wu was outside while his staff members got massages.

The video caption reads: “Having a good time in Nha Trang, Vietnam. A superstar is sitting at the entrance of a massage parlour eating durian and treating everyone to massages.”

Wu, who is said to be one of the richest hosts in Taiwan, is just wearing shorts and T-shirt in the video, while sitting by the roadside using plastic bags as gloves to eat the fruit.

This video prompted netizens to comment things like: "I thought he was a homeless person”, “Looks like a lonely old man” and “He’s not eating during, he’s eating loneliness”.

More positive comments included: "Brother Wu: so cute, always a carefree superstar", "Brother Wu is so adorable! Instead of getting a massage himself, he'd rather eat his favourite durian.”

Wu, a known durian aficionado, has been making the most of durian season by indulging in the fruit across Southeast Asia.

Before making a stop in Nha Trang, he stopped by Kuala Lumpur for a taste of Musang King.
