Astro is going all out this year with over 180 special programmes for Syawal. They include telefilms, variety programmes, talk shows and blockbuster movies.

The broadcasting company has also produced an entertaining five-minute commercial titled Ada Apa Dengan Masa (What's Up With Time), featuring 33 celebrities such as Datuk Jalaluddin Hassan, Erra Fazira, Keanu Azman, Nas Muammar Zar (Nas T), Shiqin Kamal, and Umar Shakur, among others.

The story of Ada Apa Dengan Masa follows Astro's theme for Hari Raya this year – Masa, Anugerah Terindah (Time, The Most Beautiful Gift).

Directed by Junad M. Nor, it centres around three successful siblings who are too busy to visit their dad in the kampung. However, when they get a cryptic message from their dad on their phones, they get worried and rush home.

One of the 13 telefilms showcased this year is Chinta Wrong Direction Raya, a continuation from the popular 20-episode series that aired in June-July last year (2023), starring Hun Haqeem and Erysha Emyra.

Actor Hun told StarLifestyle: "For Hari Raya titles on Astro, I am starring in Chinta Wrong Direction Raya. It's from our series Chinta Wrong Direction, which we have turned into a telemovie for Hari Raya."

The 26-year-old hoped fans of the series would enjoy the special, which will be shown on Astro Ria (Channel 104).

Meanwhile, on Astro's digital platform, you don't want to miss the talk show No Filter, where Elly Mazlein (Kak Lina Pom Pom) has really frank conversations with her famous guests.

Apparently, her guests had to agree to answer each and every question that nosy Elly asks them, hence the title of the show, before they down sit on the couch.

Another talk show worth checking out is Bual Dulu Baru Kamu Raya with TikTok influencer Ubai MZ chatting with local celebrities such action star Zul Ariffin in a casual manner.
