South Korean heartthrob Lee Seung-gi to meet Malaysian fans in KL on Nov 4

Fans of South Korean singer-actor Lee Seung-gi can expect an exciting November this year as the superstar will be coming to Malaysia for a fan meet event.

According to a press release from One and Astro, Lee will be meeting 120 lucky winners from Astro's online contest in a private closed-door event on Nov 4.

The same day will also see the Vagabond star holding a public fan meet at 5pm at MyTown Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur, where fans can get up close and personal with Lee through fun games and activities.

If you're an Astro customer who's interested in scoring a special pass to meet Lee in person for the closed-door session, you can participate in the online contest through the broadcaster's official mobile application, My Astro.

The contest starts this Thursday (Oct 12) and ends on Oct 20 at 11.59pm. Winners will be notified by Oct 25.

Lee – known as a "Triple Threat" entertainer for his success in singing, acting and hosting – kickstarted his career as an artiste in 2004, where he quickly rose to fame with ballads like Because You're My Girl and Will You Marry Me?.

He has seven studio albums and numerous awards, including the Golden Disc Award for Album of the Year, under his belt.

In 2009, the multi-talented heartthrob made his acting debut in the drama, Brilliant Legacy. He has since starred in popular dramas like My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho, The King 2 Hearts and The Law Cafe.

He has clinched numerous acting awards, including the 2023 Korean PD Awards in the Best Actor Award category for The Law Cafe.

The actor is also a successful show host and has hosted many popular variety shows such as 2 Days 1 Night, Strong Heart, and Master In The House.
