Hong Kong-based actress Lisa Ch'ng recently returned to Malaysia with her boyfriend, TVB star Mat Yeung, to celebrate her mother's birthday.

The celebrity couple seem to be making the most of their time in the country and were spotted with Hong Kong actor Derek Wong at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on Sunday (Sept 24).

The three stars dressed casually and were said to be very good looking and cordial, readily accepting fans' requests for selfies.

As seen in a series of photos shared by Wong, 42, on his Instagram Story, the trio treated themselves to a huge meal later that night and enjoyed yummy dishes like popiah, char kuey teow and fried chicken wings.

Wong also said that Ch'ng, 36, and Yeung, 42, took him to eat durian.

In a more recent update on Monday, Ch'ng shared on Instagram several snaps of herself with enjoying nasi lemak with friends at a restaurant in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

She and Wong were spotted near the Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd administrative (KTMB) building in Kuala Lumpur and Pasar Seni later that day.

Yeung and Ch'ng have been dating for seven years. The actor once told Hong Kong media that he wants to have stability in his career before settling down with his beau.

Yeung was sentenced to 18 days in jail last year over a DUI conviction.

In an interview with Oriental Sunday, Yeung said that Ch'ng visited him multiple times when he was in prison and showered him with support after he was released on Jan 7.
