Jackie Chan is trending on social media after a video of the actor watching his career-long journey with his co-star Liu Haocun, his on-screen daughter, goes viral.

The video was released last month but recently started trending on social media.

On Twitter, however, it was claimed the young woman in the video with Chan is his daughter, Etta Ng, but it is Liu, who stars in the recently released Chinese action drama, Ride On.

While watching some of the action star’s most memorable stunts, both started crying.

Back in April when Ride On was released in theatres, netizens criticised Chan's role as a father who reconciled with his estranged daughter in the film while neglecting his 23-year-old estranged daughter in real life.

Chan and Ng are believed to have a strained relationship, with Ng once reportedly saying that she never wished to see her father.

It was previously reported that Ng was last seen in public last year queuing for a meal at a food bank in Canada. – Agencies
