Hong Kong superstar Chow Yun Fat may just be living proof that age is no barrier to keeping fit.

At 68 years old, Chow continues to retain a toned body by jogging and hiking.

In a promotional video for his new film, One More Chance, the actor talked about how jogging had changed his life for the better.

According to him, going for his daily runs had not only improved his physique but taught him perseverance too.

"Through jogging, I learned to persevere. I used to find it boring (jogging) each day.

"But I later realised that going for these runs is actually beneficial for my body, mind and metabolism, so I persevered and continued to exercise,” he said.

In the video, Chow shared that he started jogging seven years ago, and it has become a significant part of his life.

Apart from health benefits, the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon star said that jogging has allowed him to meet and befriend many different people too.

"Whether I'm running alone or with a group of friends, jogging is a rewarding and enjoyable activity for me now," he added.

A huge jogging enthusiast, Chow is frequently spotted going for his morning runs and would occasionally oblige to a selfie or two with fans.

Earlier in February, he took part in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon where he completed the 10km race in just 1hr, 3min, 58sec.
