Hong Kong star Ruco Wong was recently in Malaysia for work as he was shooting a commercial for a restaurant which the actor is the brand ambassador.
The TVB actor brought along his wife, former Miss Hong Kong Phoebe Sin for the trip.
Chan, who has been to Malaysia several times, was more than happy to show his wife around when they visited Penang, Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur.
“I’m acting as her tour guide and introducing her to the passionate locals. We ate a lot during this trip, and we gained a few pounds.
"I hope people don’t think she is pregnant after seeing the photos. She is already working hard to lose the weight,” Chan, 45, told Hong Kong media upon his return.
When asked what are his favourite Malaysian food, Chan replied: "I like Ipoh’s white coffee that comes in a plastic bag, and char kway teow the most."
