TVB star Nancy Wu says finding ‘Mr Right’ tops her to-do list but it’s not been easy

Hong Kong actress Nancy Wu has dated more than a few men, including singer Deep Ng, musician Terry Chan and fellow TVB actor Kenneth Ma, but none of her relationships have lasted past the two-year mark.

Thus, the 40-year-old star hasn't taken the next step – marriage.

Appearing on a YouTube talk show hosted by her friend Sharon Chan recently, Wu talked about her single status.

Wu, who’s known for playing strong women on screen, described her personality as someone who is “overly rational” and doesn’t trust people so easily.

However, she also said this: “Once this person appears, I will not be so level-headed.”

Since the romance rumours with her Fist Within Four Walls (2016) co-star Ruco Chan, Wu has not dated anyone and apparently even told her friends that she would probably remain single forever.

The Triumph In The Skies II actress reasoned: “Firstly you’d have to entrust your life to that someone, and that person might not have the same goals as you.

“Liking that someone versus navigating the rest of your life with that person, are totally different issues.”

This is not the first time Wu has shared of her struggles in finding a compatible life partner.

When she appeared on another talk show last year, Wu – who has been busy with various acting gigs and keeping up with her fitness regime – stated that dating was a luxury for her.

All she can do is to stay positive as she mentioned that she believes there is a special someone for her. “Maybe our paths haven’t crossed yet.”
