Hong Kong actor Bosco Wong is getting a lot of praise for his role in the fifth season of TVB's popular drama Forensic Heroes.

Fans are rooting for Wong to win the Best Actor award for his portrayal as a forensic scientist on the show. However, he said that awards are not top of his priority list.

Wong said he is happy when the audience enjoys his performance. “I get a sense of fulfillment when I film a drama. Awards are not that important to me,” the actor said.

He also added that now that he is in his 40s, he is fine with accepting "dad" roles.

"If you ask me to portray a 24-year-old right now, I don’t think it’ll work. The most I can probably convincingly do is a 30-something year old, or someone who is more mature,” said Wong who turned 42 on Dec 13.

When asked by Hong Kong media when he will start a family, the bachelor replied that it is not something he is concerned about and that he will leave it to fate.

“Maybe because I was born and raised in a single-parent household, I do not have this ideal desire for a family. I don’t set rules or timeframes for when I want to get married or have kids. I will leave it up to fate,” he said.
