Taiwanese superstar Jay Chou is about to welcome another member to his family.
The King of Mandopop took to Instagram on Wednesday (Jan 19) to share that his wife – model-actress Hannah Quinlivan – is pregnant with their third child.
Accompanying the photo, he wrote (as translated by a website): “We originally wanted to announce the good news after the baby was born, but it looks like we can't keep it under wraps anymore. This is the most beautiful gift."
He tagged his wife and the hashtag #arrivingsoon.
Likewise, Quinlivan posted a family photo with the caption: "N°5 coming soon!"
Chou and Quinlivan – who got married in 2014 – are parents to Hathaway Chou, six, and Jaylen Romeo Chou, four.
The news of Quinlivan's pregnancy comes a day after Chou celebrated his birthday. He turned 43 on Tuesday (Jan 18).
Singer-actor Chou made his musical debut in 2000 with the album Jay and has reportedly introduced many in the Chinese-speaking world to R&B and hip-hop.
He has not released any album since 2016's Jay Chou's Bedtime Stories.
Nonetheless, it was recently stated that Chou is ranked only the second richest person in the Chinese entertainment industry, having earned 2.1 billion yuan (RM1.4bil) between 2017 and 2020.
As an actor, he's appeared in Hong Kong, Taiwanese and Hollywood films. His next appearance is supposed to be in the Initial D sequel.
