Fans of BTS and other nominees in the two new categories at 2021 MTV Movies & TV Awards have a chance to ensure their favourite artistes come out on top.

For today only, fans can cast their votes for the Best Music Documentary category via @MTV’s Instagram stories.

The nominees are Ariana Grande: Excuse Me, I Love You; Biggie: I Got A Story To Tell; Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry; BTS: Break The Silence: The Movie; Demi Lovato: Dancing With The Devil; Shawn Mendes: In Wonder; Taylor Swift: Miss Americana; The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend A Broken Heart; The New York Times Presents: Framing Britney Spears; and Tina.

Meanwhile voting for another new category – Best Music Moment – can also be done via @MTV’s Instagram stories until May 14.

The nominees are Black Is King Brown Skin Girl; Bridgerton Wildest Dreams (Daphne & Simon's Honeymoon Phase); Cobra Kai I Wanna Rock (Miguel & Johnny at a Dee Snider Concert); Julie And The Phantoms Edge Of Great; Love & Monsters Stand By Me (Mav1s & Joel watch the Sky Jellies); The Kissing Booth 2 Lost In The Wild (Elle & Marco's Dance Competition Performance); To All The Boys: Always And Forever Beginning Middle End (Peter & Lara Jean's Song); WandaVision Agatha All Along.
