In her latest Instagram post on April 3, the 52-year-old diva – in a Louis Vuitton top – brought her fans with her, virtually, as she received her first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Her reaction to the jab? A musical one of course!
Captioning the post,"Vaccine side effect: G6", Carey said she was both excited and nervous for her shot. And when the health worker administered the jab, Carey first screamed and then hit her famous high note!
The singer also said in the post: "Here we are, all the way from that first post washing my hands with (her nine-year-old twins) Roc and Roe in New York, trying to encourage people to really be safe. You know, we're still in this battle together.
"Here we are, hoping for the best, encouraging you guys to do it when you can."
