On April 9, singers Datuk Zainal Abidin and Zee Avi, as well as stand-up comedian Hartih Iskander will be taking the stage to perform live in front of an audience once again.
After a long period of not being able to hold live performances, artistes breathed a sigh of relief when Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob recently announced the staging of live events will be allowed under strict public health protocols and SOP.
In line with this, organiser PR Worldwide is presenting Alive Again, one of the first live events to be held under the conditional movement control order. It's happening at 8.30pm on April 9, at Hall 5, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
The company announced that the two-hour set will feature not only Zainal Abidin and Zee Avi, but also top-notch musicians including Mac Chew (keyboards), Sham Kamikaze (guitars), Lewis Pragasam (drums), Daniel Fong (bass) and Khairul Izwan (percussions).
Para R, managing director of PR Worldwide, said in a statement: “Musicians, talents, creative crew, event-service suppliers, venues, local event crew and support staff can now reset and restart an industry that has been severely impacted by the pandemic.”
Tickets to Alive Again are priced at RM188 and RM228, at www.prworldwidelive.com.
Please take note that since this is organised under strict safety guidelines, the event will be a limited-seats-only event and tickets will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.
