My Fair Princess

Walk down memory lane with this popular 1998 period drama, My Fair Princess. Emperor Qianlong had a short-lived relationship with commoner Xia Yuhe many years ago.

Just before Yuhe's passing, she informs her daughter Ziwei, now 17, the identity of her biological father. Ziwei then embarks on a journey to meet her father for the first time.

Along the way, she bumps into the effervescent Xiao Yanzi who helps her in her quest. Starring Vicki Zhao and Ruby Lin.

The Legend Of Zhong Kui



Go on an exhilarating adventure with the popular Chinese folk deity, Zhong Kui (played by Bobby Au-yeung), as he chases and fights ghosts, in this 2012 series.



The Deer And The Cauldron

Wei Xiao Bao, the son of a prostitute, was born to a difficult life but using his wits and street smarts, he finds himself in the imperial palace and even befriends the ruler. This 2020 production stars Zhang Yishan and Tina Tang.

Fighter Of The Destiny

Chen Changsheng's blood can miraculously cure all illnesses. Unfortunately, that very same blood is detrimental to Changsheng himself. His master, the Taoist monk Ji (Eric Tsang), says he will never live past the age of 20.

Unwilling to accept his fate, he chooses to fight it. Changsheng embarks on a journey to find a cure for his condition. Starring Lu Han and Eric Tsang.

Empresses In The Palace

Armed Reaction's Ada Choi broke through the Mainland China market with her widely-praised performance as the Empress.

Empresses In The Palace is all about the drama, as it highlights the scheming and backstabbing going on between the Empress, consorts and concubines, as they each try to secure their place in the palace.

Chinese Hero Zhao Zi Long

This 60-episode series was reportedly made with a RM163mil production budget. First released in 2016, the period drama centres on the life of Zhao Zi Long, or Zhao Yun, a famed military general.

But besides his fighting prowess, the series also tells a romantic tale, as he competes against another warrior Gao Ze for the affection of the beautiful Xiahou Qingyi. Starring Kenny Lin Geng Xin, Im Yoon-ah, Kim Jeong-hoon and Godfrey Gao.

Ban Shu Legend

Ban Shu is a bubbly, free-spirited girl who grew up in the grasslands. She travels to the imperial palace to meet her father, military general Ban Chao. Unfortunately, he died before she reached him.

Unaccustomed to the ways of the palace, she struggles to fit in with the crowd initially but thanks to her buoyant personality, she gradually wins them over. Now a scholar at the Royal Female Academy, she meets Wei Ying, who is still reeling from the loss of his ex-fiancee.

Her sunny disposition begins to have an effect on him. Starring Sally Jing Tian, Zhang Zhe Han and Fu Xin Bo.

The Legend Of Jade Sword

Violence and discord was rife during the Xia Dynasty, the first dynasty of China. Ji Ning Tian, a sickly baby predicted to succumb to his illness, not only beat the odds but grew up to be a leader determined to bring peace and harmony to the land. Starring Hawick Lau and Angel Wang.
