In a twist no one saw coming, actress Tanya Roberts, who was reported dead on Jan 3, is alive.
Well, it turns out her domestic partner Lance O'Brien mistakenly thought Roberts had died.
Roberts' rep, Mike Pingel, clarified to TMZ: "Her domestic partner, Lance, was at the hospital Sunday when he saw Tanya's eyes close. For some reason, he says he thought she was dead so he left devastated."
Pingel also told The Hollywood Reporter: I did get confirmation (of her death), but that was from a very distraught person (Roberts' boyfriend, Lance O'Brien).
"And so yes, this morning at 10am ... the hospital did call to say that she was still alive but it's not looking good. We will hopefully have information (soon). It's upsetting."
Pingel issued a press release on the death of Roberts on Jan 3. In that statement, Pingel said that Roberts collapsed while out walking her dogs on Christmas Eve and was then admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles.
Roberts, 65, is best known for her role as a Bond girl in A View To A Kill; cult classics like Sheena: Queen Of The Jungle and The Beastmaster; and sitcom That '70s Shows.
