'Bukan Kahwin Paksa' actress Hannah Delisha starts wearing hijab

On Sept 8, actress-singer Hannah Delisha posted a picture of her wearing a hijab on her Instagram account (@hannahdelisha).

The Singapore-born beauty did not explain anything further in the caption. However, Hannah – who has 2.4 million Instagram followers – received over 250,000 likes with many congratulating her on her move to wear hijab.

Later, she posted another photo thanking all those who liked and supported her move.

She told a Malay online portal that she had wanted to wear hijab since Ramadan this year (April-May).

Hannah was reported saying: "I had to postpone my intent as I was still filming the drama Cinta Sekali Lagi.

"But as soon as I finished my filming commitment, I did not delay it any longer," added the 23-year-old. "Thankfully, I don't have any other filming commitments that require me to not wear a hijab."
