Singer Ed Sheeran has just welcomed a baby girl!

The Perfect hitmaker broke the news on Instagram on Sept 1, accompanied by a photo of a pair of baby socks: "Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter – Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.

"We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time."

The 29-year-old British singer tied the knot with childhood friend Cherry Seaborn in 2018 after dating for three years. Lyra is their first child.
