Andrea Bocelli learns to sing in Mandarin for war epic ‘The Eight Hundred’

Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and Chinese pop singer Na Ying perform the closing song, Remembering, for the Chinese war epic, The Eight Hundred. The single is performed in both English and Mandarin. It also has an English version performed by Bocelli and Na Ying.

The movie depicts Chinese soldiers’ defense of a warehouse against the invading Japanese army during the Battle of Shanghai in 1937. It is the first major Chinese production to hit movie theatres since the Covid-19 outbreak.
