BTS to release English single on Aug 21

There's just no stopping BTS.

The K-pop group continues its world domination and this time it is with an English single which will be released on Aug 21.

“We are preparing an album for the second half of this year, but decided to first release a single because we wanted to reach our fans as soon as possible.

"Due to Covid-19, people around the world have been going through tough times and we wanted to share some positive energy with our fan," BTS said.

The group added that singing in English is "a new challenge for us as well".

And get ready to put on your dancing shoes because the track is an upbeat one.

"When we first heard and recorded the song, we were energised and our spirits were lifted up. We can’t wait to share this song with you all," BTS said.

This announcement was made on Sunday (July 26) when the group spoke to fans on the Korean livestream broadcasting app V Live.

Big Hit, which manages BTS, confirmed the English single with a message on the group's official fan club app WeVerse: “We would like to thank all ARMY for your continued affection for BTS, and we ask for your love and support for the new digital single soon to be unveiled."
