Mention Fantasy Island, and the first thing most of us would think of is that 1970s TV series starring Ricardo Montalban.

That show revolved around a unique resort island that can fulfill a visitor’s fantasy, but that fantasy rarely turned out as one expected it to. In this feature adaptation by Blumhouse Productions, Fantasy Island becomes a horror film while using the TV series’ basic premise.
