Malaysian jazz artiste Ushera has released a brand new single titled Malaysia Merdeka to commemorate today’s National Day celebrations.
Malaysia Merdeka is a patriotic song based on the Musical Nationalism movement in 1950’s Malaya. It was inspired by the original recording by Zahara Agus in the year 1956, with lyrics rewritten by Ushera, and musical arrangement by Ganesh Bala.
