Radio station Suria to broadcast from cruise ship

Malay-language radio station Suria is shaking things up, broadcasting from a cruise ship tomorrow (May 5) between 4pm-6pm.

Suria announcers Sharifah Shahirah, Fizi Ali, Feeya Iskandar, Tyzo, Suraya, DJ Lin and Halim Othman will be going on air for the first time on a cruise ship at Putrajaya. Guest artistes Francissca Peter and Lan Solo will also grace the event.

Programme manager DJ Lin shares this collaborative effort with Cruise Tasik Putrajaya is the radio station’s way of bringsing something new to the table.

“Suria is always thinking of ways to draw closer to its listeners and fans, from producing original digital content to introducing on-ground broadcast initiatives. We hope the Suria brand will continue to grow and be our listener’s choice,” she said.

Winners of a contest organised earlier by the radio station will also be joining in the fun tomorrow, taking part in various activities on the cruise ship. Before this, Suria has organised an on-ground broadcast initiative from Mydin USJ.
