Louis Koo has finally won his very first best actor award after 25 years of making movies. And it was at the 12th Asian Film Awards, held at The Venetian Macao in Macau on March 17.
“I’ve appeared in over 200 movies, and this is the first time I’ve won an award,” Koo said, while accepting his award. As one of the most prolific and highest-earning film actors in Hong Kong, Koo is rarely considered a film award contender and has garnered fewer than 10 nominations over the years.
