From being an assistant director on the 2011 films Thillalangadi and Velayudham, SD Puvanendran is now directing his own movie.
Titled Maravan, this Malaysian film in Tamil stars Kumaresh, Haridass, Denes Kumar, Kavitha Thiagarajan, and Pushpa Narayan. The film was shot in just one month early this year at locations around Klang Valley and Semenyih.
