German city aims to keep 'documenta' day care exhibit open for children

A work of art at this year's documenta exhibition - a piece that was also a functioning creche for parents and small children - could remain in the German city of Kassel if donations are forthcoming.

The city, documenta, Museum Fridericianum and the artist called for donations for the purchase of the work Parents And Toddlers Creche / Public Daycare.
