Banana Leaf Online offers M'sian Indian creatives a platform to share collective stories

Last year, contemporary artist Rupa Subramaniam organised a significant art event in Kuala Lumpur celebrating the work of the Malaysian Indian community.

The exhibit titled Banana Leaf: An Exhibition Of Malaysian Indian Art And Culture featured over 20 local artists and writers as well as the children of the community-based Sivananda Ashram in Batu Caves, Selangor.
