HOW creative are we when it comes to our cities? Could they possibly reach the heights of cities that have been officially designated as wellsprings of creativity as part of the United Nations’ Creative Cities Network?
It would be an accolade, indeed, to be allowed to join the network, which was established by Unesco (the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) in 2004. It currently has 30 member cities in seven areas of creativity: design, media arts, craft and folk arts, film, gastronomy, literature, and music.
