What has this year’s Anugerah Industri Muzik ’05 awards have for the local English artistes? JASON CHEAH wonders. 

The English categories in the annual Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM) has been in a continuous flux since homegrown English-language albums were introduced in 1996. Back then it was singer-songwriter Amir Yussof that took home the first English-language AIM gong (best local English album) after being nominated alongside guitar-rock acts OAG and Saturnine.
