Flat lines and tacky appearances let down the Golden Horse Awards show. It was a long and tedious night in Taichung.

The 45th Golden Horse Film Awards show in Taiwan went on for more than four hours last Saturday and after a late start – more than 20 minutes past the official time of 7pm.
