Renewed ties: Wang will feature in a new series of ads for the Japanese watch company.

SEIKO has appointed Asian super popstar Wang Lee-hom for the fourth consecutive time as the spokesman for Seiko watches in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

Seiko says the versatile artiste, who is a singer, songwriter, actor, filmmaker and multi-instrumentalist, makes a perfect match for the company.

The brand’s timepieces are essential partners round the clock for Wang in effectively managing his time and busy schedule.

Constantly travelling around countries in the Asian region for his singing career, Wang’s professionalism is showcased in a brand new series of advertisements for Seiko.

The highlight of the campaign is a promotional movie by Shuichi Tan, a well-known Japanese music video and TV commercial director whose accolades include the Space Shower TV (Japan) “Music Video Award for Best Director” and one of “TV Apparel Finalists” in The London International Advertising & Design Award.

The print advertisements were shot by Shao Ting Kuei, a renowned photographer in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.

Thanks to Shao’s perspective and vision, the new print advertisement is a blend of art and fashion.

The new series of Seiko advertisements, shot in Taipei, Taiwan, are themed “The Pursuit of Dreams”.

Wang is featured wearing business suit and smart casual attire accessorised with a selection of Seiko watches, embodying the qualities of a sophisticated and mature personality.

The promotional campaign highlights a multi-talented artiste whose pursuit of his dreams is complemented by Seiko’s watches.

Founded in 1881, Seiko has a long history of “striving for the best” and is thus a perfect fit for Wang.
