The former Regimental Sergeant Major of the 8th Rangers of the Royal Malaysian Army’s Royal Ranger Regiment from the Iban Dayak community in Sarawak was awarded the nation’s two highest awards for gallantry, the Seri Pahlawan Gagah Perkasa and the Panglima Gagah Berani.
