The fallacy of build-then-sell


IN the recently announced 13th Malaysia Plan, the government has proposed to mandate the build-then-sell (BTS) model for the property sector.

As such, there will be a need to make amendments to the Housing Development Act 1966 (HDA) to make the BTS model adoption mandatory.
